Unit4 When is Easter? Part A Let’s learn

一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词first,second,third,fourth,fifth等序数及其缩写形式.
2. 能够通过图片掌握相关活动English test, maths test, singing contest, school trip, sports meet, April Fool’s Day。
3. 能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is …句型,询问相关活动的发生日期,并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。
4. 能够用英语表达具体的活动日期。
二、教学重难点
重点:能够听、说、读、写单词first,second,third,fourth,fifth等序数及其缩写形式。
难点:能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is …句型,询问相关活动的发生日期,并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。
三、教学准备:多媒体课件。
四、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1.Sing a song.
2. T: How many months are there in a year?
S: One ,two, three … twelve.
T: Yes, you are clever. There are twelve months in a year. (课件出示1~12月,简单复习月份)
Step 2: Presentation
Let’s learn
(1)T:Look the calendar. (出示四月份日历) Which month is it?
Ss: April.
T:Who can tell me how many days are there in April?
Ss: Thirty.
T: What are they? (日历上出示日期,教师自读) April.1st, April.2nd, April.3rd, April.4th, April.5th, April.6th…(从而导入新单词,进行教学)
(2)分别板书本节课的四会单词,逐个教学。
(3)T: f-i-r-s-t, first Ss: f-i-r-s-t, first (反复领读两遍,然后让学生开火车读。)同时出示日历中对应的日期及节日,练习本节课重点句型When is…? It’s on…并让学生练习句型。second,third,fourth,fifth学法同上。
(4)教师播放Let’s learn部分的录音,学生先静听,注意仔细听单词的发音,然后反复播放音,学生跟读。
(5)火眼金睛游戏,让学生迅速读出所看到的单词。
Step 3: Consolidation and extension
Ask and answer
1.转盘游戏。
将课本Ask and answer部分的词汇放到转盘上。找学生上台前转动转盘,指针指到哪里,就运用核心句型When is …? It’s on…与小伙伴进行对话交流。
2. Read and choose. (读短文然后判断对“T”错“F”)
Hi, I am Mike. There are five people in my family. My grandma, my father, my mother, my little sister and I. There are three birthdays in February and two birthdays in September. My grandma’s birthday is in February. My birthday is on September 10th.It is also Teachers’ Day. My mother is a teacher. On September 10th, my mum usually buys me a big birthday cake. I often help her cook dinner. She usually cooks noodles for me. I feel happy. I love my mother very much.
