Song is not only a form of music, but also a very important kind of learning instrument. English songs can help students conquer not only pronunciation, improve their sense of rhythm and tone, but also heighten the cross-cultural learning awareness, and inspire their interest and motivation in writing. Through my research, most students think English songs are useful to English learning. I will demonstrate my results and figures to show the function and the importance of English songs in learning English. The conclusion is that English songs are helpful to English acquisition and English learners should make use of them to learn English.
