一、课题:I’m more out going than my sister.
二、整体设计思想
According to the new standards of English curriculum, English, as a subject, is both a tool and a reflection of humanity in its primary stage of compulsory education. So we should not only teach them knowledge, but lay more emphasis on the development of their ability. I strongly hold that the students are the real masters while the teacher is a guide in the teaching and learning process. The basic task is to arouse interests and make everyone of them enjoy the class and learn happily in the primary stage. So in this class, I design many interesting games while teaching them knowledge, which will make them more cooperative and confident.
三、教学目标
Knowledge objectives
1) Master the new words and expressions

2) Learn to describe people using adjectives
3) Be able to compare people using the comparative degree.
Ability objectives
1) Be able to understand short dialogues through listening and talk about the differences of people through observation
2) Be able to understand short passages and can write a composition to describe the changes of a city
3) Learn to compete through a game and cooperate through pair work.
3. Moral objectives
1).Students become more interested in English learning through games and activities in class.
2).Students learn to care about others through describing his or her classmates. Also they have a great hope for the better I by thinking what they will be like 10 years later.

Students are in grade 8. They have learned English for one year. So they have some basic knowledge. For example, they know tall, short for one’s looks, and shy, smart for one’s personality.
