Research Research on the Tube-type bottle Characteristic Parameters Inspecting System with Vision Inspection Abstract Vision岍tion is a promising technology and has been made use ofin various fieldsofmodemindustry．Itcould relievehumanbeingoutofrepeatedand boringlabor work,avoiding mistakes or missing because ofman’S tiredness．Therefore，our inspection accuracy,speedth and abilities have been improved greatly by using ads kind oftechnology． The research aimed at the design ofa tube-type bottle image inspoeting system with vision inspection,and simulated aetLlal inspection of glass bottles in the laboratory．The main contributions ofthis dissertation the followings： Firstly，the structure ofthe inspecting system Was intzoduced．Aiming at the characteristic ofmedicine tube-type bottle impeetion，the dissertation discmsed the project as a whole，selecting ofacquisition equipment and designing ofillumination apparatus． Primary designing objectives for the system have been achieved． Secondly，the dissertation concerns on the application ofdigital image processing technology tO the detection ofdefect in empty bottle inspection．After the conclusion ofthe traditional edge detection methods，several novel algorithms based on wavelet transform for the inspection ofempty bottle bottom,mouth and body were put forward．Meanwhile，all improvedalgorithmofR．HTforthe systemWasproposedtOobtainthe sizeofinsideand outside diameter ofthe bottle．Experiments have proved their efficiency and feasibility． Thirdly，the dissertation inlroduced the real-time image processing system．Processing algorithms were realized on SEED·VPM642，and the high efficiency and feasibility of TMS320DM642 processor has been proved．Using DSP Was an advanced method of improving efficiency ofthe inspection system． Finally，the software design Was accomplished，focusing on the demand of inspection and the charaeteristic ofDSP．The whole system test was carried out successfully． Key Word：Vision Inspection；Digital Image Processin
