Abstract:Based on the study of electrochemical flotation of sulfide minerals, originpotential flotation(OPF )technology, which
makes use of intrinsic redox reactions in the grinding-flotation system to adjust potential, was proposed.The optimum condi-
tions for the selective flotation of galena form the Pb-Zn-Fe sulfide ores were as follows:pH12.5 ～12.8,E 150 ～180
op
mV and diethydithioncarbamate(DDTC)as collector .Lime, as regulator of pH, it could stablilize special potential very well.
OPF techonology has been used successfully in lead-zinc sulfide minerals flotation, demonstrating a vast range of prospects for
its extensive application to all sulfide minerals flotation .
