PAGE PAGE VI Abstract In recent years, the trust level of the court’ decisions is low in our nation , this station is related with what the impartiality of the judge and neutrality was related questions. In judicial practice, judges’ behavior is always inconsistent with they status, they always can not keep impartiality and neutrality, for example, accept a party and his lawyer banquets, and so on. The reason of the above situation may be various, one of the important reasons is that the legal system of the regulation of judge’ behavior is not perfect. This paper is titled with “reference and evaluate to California code of judicial ethics”, and discussed the problem in four aspects. The first part is the legislation history of California code of judicial ethics, this part mainly discuss the legislation history and legislative of California code of judicial ethics. The second part is mainly talk about the special content of California code of judicial ethics. This part mainly involves the judge’s official activities, political activities, financial activities, other judicial outside activities , and so on. The third part is talk about the processing mechanism of judge’s misconduct of California . This part include processing orgnization and information source, handle process of judge’ misconduct , relief processing and the confidential (public) of relative information. The four part is talk about the reference of California code of judicial ethics to our nation . It talk about the relevant law of this topic in our nation and the shortcomings .
