Speaking skills 技巧指南 Rehearsing the delivery 演讲前的演练 Delivery refers to the way in which you actually deliver or perform or give your presentation. In order to be an effective speaker, you need to be familiar with some basic speech delivery skills: vocal delivery and physical delivery. Skills in vocal delivery refers to the ability of using of your voice to convey your message. The aspect of voice you should work to control are: Volume Pitch Rate Pauses Pronunciation (3) To present your speech well physically, attention is needed on the following: Eye contact Posture Movement Gesture Facial expression Exercises In vocal delivery, it is important to pronounce words correctly and clearly. Read out aloud the following tongue twisters, pay attention to the vowel, diphthong and consonant sounds.
