PAGE 2 PAGE 1 定语从句 教学目标：1.掌握限制性定语从句的功能、结构和引导词的选择 2. 掌握非限制性定语从句的功能、结构和引导词的选择 教学重点：1. 必须使用that作为引导词的定语从句 2. 介词加引导词的定语从句，非限制性定语从句 Lesson 1 一. 定语从句的功能和结构 在复合句中，修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫做定语从句。 被定从句修饰的词叫做先行词。 定语从句必须放在先行词之后。 引导定语从句的关联词有关系代词和关系副词。 二. 各个关系代词和关系副词的具体用法 1. who 指人，在定语从句中作主语or宾格。 The person who broke the window must pay for it. 2. whom指人，在定语从句中作宾语。 The man whom you met just now is my friend. 3. whose 指人或物，在定语从句中作定语。=of which 或of whom The girl whose mother is ill is staying at home today. 4. which指物，在定语从中作主语或宾语。 A dictionary is a book which gives the meaning of words. 5.that既指人，又指物；在定语从句中作主语或宾语。 I’ve read the newspaper that(which) carries the important news. 6. when 指时间，在定语从句中作状语。= (on / in / during which) He arrived in Beijing on the day when I left. 7. where 指地点，在定语从句中作状语。=(in / at which) This is the house where we lived last year. 8.why 指原因，在定语从句中作状语。=for which She didn’t tell me the reason why she was late for the meeting. 三.做题技巧：代入法 第一步：分清主从句 第二步：确定先行词 第三步：分析从句成分，以 主语 谓语 宾语 状语顺序。 【牛刀小试】 That was the room where we had lived for ten years.
