Logistics is the headspring of the third profits, so how to scoop out the logistics potential, increase total society benefit and economy social resource is the important measure for enterprise to seek the cost advantage and the differential advantage. It is also the new strategy for enterprise to make furrher development. Modern logistics not only need to reduce the logistics cost, but also need to sarisfy the customers’diverse request. In order to show the biggest economy value in currency, we should solve the problem of logistic center. Only a right selection could reduce the total cost of logistics well. This paper, first, introduces the signification and function of logistics and logistics center location, and, exhaustive, introduces the kinds and functions of logistics center in different way. For the progress of selecting, this paper introduces the factors and notices in a particular way. The location model of logistics center is the emphases of this paper, especially, the location model base on barycentric method. This paper talks about the common way of logistics center. Also it gives us an introduction for the instance of continuous and discrete way. Afterward, it pays more attention to the models and ways of logistics center location which base on barycentric method. For the case of building one or more logistics center, it does a particular discussion. In conclusion, particularly, in the part of using barycentric method to analyze the location of logistics center, this paper discusses the different conditions one by one.
