While this model may be reported as “overconstrained,” it actually solves fine, so this topic was not covered. In general, the Joint DOF Checker should be used as a simple means of checking for overconstraint. For the present model, the fixed joint “Fixed - conrod-brg:1 To conrod-brg:2” causes the overconstraint because it is redundant. If it is suppressed, the Joint DOF Checker reports free DOF.
