Taking Dandu Bridge project as an example, in which the concrete strength of pile foundation does not meet the design requirements, and on the basis of engineering specification and empirical values of pile-soil parameters, the treatments of defect pile are proposed. The comparison between the vertical and the horizontal bearing capacities of the defect pile before and after the treatment is analyzed thoroughly; and the analysis can be used as references.
