万方数据 万方数据 Abstract The CCP Central committee and the Council General Office released documentation that strengthen and improve the opinion of propaganda and ideological work in new situation In January 20, 2015. It amphasized that it should enhance the direction and effectiveness for the ideological and political education of college students and start up quality improving tasks of the ideological and political education. Thus it seems more important to innovate the ideological and political education in the new situation. And it will be the optimal option to improve the ideological and political education of college students by the ways of referring to other subjects’ knowledge and theories. The theory in management science has been introduced to the ideological and political education theory from the reform and opening period. However, with the development of society, ideological and political education are facing more new problems. The nineties are the majority of college students nowdays. And their thinking and behavior features has changed a lot, so how to carry on the ideological and political education using the encouragement theory in the consideration of their features becomes a new difficulty. In this paper, the system elements of encouragement theory when it is used in the ideological and political education process will be analysized according to the practical features of nowadays’ college students. And combining the data analysis of the questionnaire survey of college students’ ideological and political education done in three universities, the problems of encouragement theory when used in the ideological and political education nowadays will be found out and at the same time, the relatively detailed encouragement principle and methods will also be put forward.
