Therefore, MIMO technology has also become one of the key technologies for next-generation wireless communication systems. However, the improvement of the performance in the system depends on the characteristics of the MIMO channel. Because of that, establishing the MIMO channel model efficiently and accurately to reflect the characteristics of the channel is particularly important. Existing MIMO channel models are basically in the two-dimensional plane, not taking into account the height of the transmitting antenna and receiving antenna arrays, and also set the multipath components into two-dimensional plane. So, statistical parameters only have the azimuth components, without elevation components, which is not real in the actual wireless environment. In order to simulate the actual MIMO channel more realistically, the modeling of 3D MIMO channel in the thesis is based on the geometric stochastic channel model.
