Author, Member, IEEE Abstract—This paper proposes singular spectrum analysis (SSA)-based feature extraction methods for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) acoustic vibration data preprocessing. The method is easy to implement and signal feature is noise immune. SSA is used for the decomposition of the UAV Flutter signal into an additive set of principal components. A new universal approach for selection of the principal components is presented. The principal components are then selected as the intrinsic features. The experimental result shows that the SSA approach is effective for preprocessing the UAV acoustic vibration test data and a conclusion can be made that the proposed SSA method may have a good effect on eliminating the noise interference of non-stationary signals. .
