ABSTRACT Power loss of distribution network is an important national economical assessment for power enterprise ，which comprehensive reflects the management level of power enterprise. The optimization structure，optimum 也「operation mode and economical power dispatch is established on the basis of calculation analysis and management of line power loss. The conception and methods of theoretical distribution line power loss are introduced in 也「 paper. The theoretical power loss calculation methods of cables，transformer 川、and low voltage network are discussed according to the operating of power system. 川 、 The theoretical power loss of whole regional of Jining distribution is calculated ，which obtained the rates of high voltage and low voltage distribution network. According to the economical development of Jining， the strategy of distribution power loss reduction is established. The technique and management power loss reduction is refined. 丁he analysis and benefits evaluation of the application of power loss strategy in distribution network show that the power loss strategy is feasible. And the power loss strategy provides reference for the power loss reconstruction and future plan of distribution network.
