B ased on proposal o f the details to mi prove the jo in t design of the steel fram e, to expanding locally the w elded section of beam end and to reduc ing the flange section at a certain distance to beam ends are stud ied. Under the assumpt ion o f sam e d irectiona l hinges being concurrent at bo th ends of the beam, reasonable resistant m om ent of hinge and the capac ity M, V) o f the jo int are determ ined. The fo rce is adopted as the adjusted design force under frequent earthquakes, and the joint design betw een beam s and co lum ns and slicing design o f beam s are mi proved, the resu lts are app lied to refer- ence o f design and mi prov ing code.
