AbstractIn Abstract In modem society,interpersonal interaction,especially the social interaction between strangers is becoming more and more frequent and inevitable.Many factors will affect interpersonal interaction,and we can get many information from different kinds of face.The attractiveness of appearance have an important impact on initial interpersonal interaction, and it decides whether trust or not in the first impression.As we know, people will take different behavior by the level of attractiveness.Hence, The relation between the attractiveness of appearance and interpersonal interaction is a hot spot problem that psychologists shows solicitude. In our experiment,we take college students and different kinds of faces as research subj ects and research materials.And we study the relation between the attractiveness of appearance and interpersonal interaction by the trust game and IAT from the implicit and explicit two angles.All photos are shown to the participants one by one in the first, and they are required to complete the experiment together.The amount of investment and the return show the degree of trust.The research found that most of the subj ects give more money to those attractive people,and subjects believe that opponents will return more.This means people tend to have hi曲degree of trust to those attractive people.In another experiment,it concludes two joint tasks:compatibility task and incompatible task.The results show that the subjects’reaction time to compatibility task is shorter than to incompatible task.That means the subjects have different degree of implicit trust to different level of appearance· In our study,the results show that the subjects have higher degree of III 万方数据 trust trust to those attractive people and lower degree of trust to those unattractive people.And there are no significant differences between men and women for judging the degree of trust.
