This paper，based on the analyzsis of current technical status of the smart home system at home and abroad, for the smart home system in questions like hard wiring, high cost, complex structure, applies the ZigBee wireless communication technology to smart home, and proposes a smart home system design by using ZigBee wireless communication technology,which has good characteristics such as a free wiring, easy maintenance, low operating costs, real-time online monitoring, home internal data wireless acquisition and transmission.
