华 中科技大学硕士学位论 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II万方数据 II 万方数据 Abstract As for the families who lost their only child,the permanent absence of the child`s role in the family system will not only threaten the family stability,but also lead to the weakness of emotional function within the family and impairment of the ability for external social communication. And as a professional helping service,social work has paid enough attention to the individual client,at the same time it also emphasizes on the recovery of the benign interaction process between the individual and the social environment by the proper utilization of the surrounding social resources. Thus, mainly focusing on the satisfaction of the emotional function and the construction of emotional support network towards the families who lose their only child,the study can be seen as an exploration in terms of the social work theory and practical operation. This paper has taken the social work support theory and structural family therapy model as the main theoretical supports.And with the background of “Love Home”project,we selected one of the families to follow up.Based on the estimating of their emotional support and demands for services,four stages service activities were carried out centering of the “emotional support”.And by detailed descriptions and records,we reviewed the effectiveness and professionalism of the interventional services. Throughout the interventional process, this interventional service has a positive effect on the improvement about the emotional support of the case family who lost their only child both in the quality and quantity aspects .At the same time,it also exists many deficiencies which need to be improved both in the practical operation and theoretical application levels. And in the summary and reflection process,we have inferred the tips about how to use the case work,team work and community work in the service process that social work offers to the families.In the end,the suggestions ab
