M THODS TRM ( Topology ResolveMap) calibration method w as estab lished in accordance w ith the color reduction algorithm,w ith selfmade color and grey patches being supervision color con trol pat ches; it was applied to correct 410 cases of clinical tongue image. R SULTS The before and after calibrated a * , b * values of each groups tongue color were significantly different ( P 0.05) except for that of w hitish group. Com pared with precalibration, the dispersion and variation coefficient of postcalibration a* , b* values decreased.The overall consensus rate w as 75. 5% after using Fisher s classification method and artificial classification method to analyze 49 cor rect ed typical tongue cases, with the Kappa value of consistency test result of 0. 675( P 0. 05) .
