S.米格代尔以国家 与社会关系为自己的学术关切，在反思和对话的基础上， 看到了韦伯式国家观的“简化论”倾向，进而以经验研究 为基础，建构了一个全新的国家定义，提出了独特的“国 家观”，同时结合过程性的视角，从方法论的角度建构了 “社会中的国家”分析路径，从动态的、过程的和建构的 角度对国家与社会的关系做出了全新解读，避免了以往 “国家中心论”或是“社会中心说”中所存在的单向度解 释，深化了对复杂社会现实的认识和理解，开启了国家与 社会关系研究的新时代，具有重要的方法论意蕴。 The relationship between the state and society is the basic proposition of social science, which is also a controversial topic area. On the basis of reflection and dialogue to the relation between state and society,Joel S. Migdal is aware of the /zreductionism〃 tendency in Weber s view of State, and then he constructs a new state definition and puts forward the unique view of State/Z on the basis of empirical research.
