It promotes the iron prospecting in the cold areas of Xinjiang and large-scale iron belts were located, i.e. the Awulale belt in the western Tiansha Mt. and the Taxkorgan belt in the western Kunlun Mt. Recently years, we carried out geological mapping and study on metallogenetic theories and effective ore exploring techniques in these ore-forming belts in Xinjiang.
