Abstract We can feel emotions in peoples daily life everywhere, and peoples lives become colourful because of emotions. In the current social, emotional quotient (EQ) education is becoming more and more prosperous, thus the research of emotional attribution plays an important role in guiding the physical and mental development of adolescent. Therefor this paper worked out an emotional attribution scale for adolescent (EASA). Its establishment based on Weiners attribution theory, and learned form the existing measurement results in attribution. We determined the structure of the scale and got the emotional attribution scale for adolescent (EASA) with a strict procedures for scale establishment. The scale consists of two parts which are positive EASA and negative EASA. Each part has 24 questions, divided into 8 subscales which are ISC(internal - stable- controllable), ISU(internal - stable- uncontrollable), IUC(internal - unstable- controllable), IUU(internal - unstable- uncontrollable) 、ESC(external - stable- controllable), ESU(external - stable- uncontrollable), EUC(external - unstable- controllable), EUU(external - unstable- uncontrollable).The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that various indexs of the positive EASA and the negative EASA were in an acceptable range, so the two models fitted well. The CronbachAlpha of two EASA which are 0.911 and 0.938 showed that the scale had a good reliability.
