In view of the weakening ecological environ ment in westnorth area ,it appears to be more improtant to minimize the destruction of ecological environment and put the idea of the sustainable development to work. This essay analyzes the related essence of green building and green construc tion ,as well as the principles and some useful measures involved in developing green building and green construction in the westnorth area.
