The Second Clinical Medical College of Shanxi Medical University, Taiyuan 030001, China Corresponding author: Niu Rungui, Email: 1281163757@ Abstract Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare, high malignant degree, wide lesion disease, and its early diagnosis is difficult, case fatality rate is high, and treatment effect is poor. The incidence is still increasing in China. Chemotherapy is the main approach, and the combination of cisplatin and pemetrexed is the front-line standard treatment. For patients with recurrent malignant pleuralmesothelioma, disease is difficult to control, second-line chemotherapy has less selectivity, pemetrexed can be used as second-line drugs. Recently, targeted therapy has become the focus in the tumor treatment, malignant pleuralmesothelioma targeted drugs have a little effect, but still do not have widely clinical application, because of the lack of a large number of multicenter randomized controlled study, the clinical effects still need to be confirmed by farther research.
