PAGE III 试论沈从文《边城》中的宿命思想 【内容摘要】宿命论是早已有之的一种世界观，认为人的命运是由必然因素造成，是注定、不可改变的而又是不可理解、不可控制的。目前为止的沈从文研究，相当细致地探讨过沈从文对生命形态的几种基本类型的描写，这无疑是正确的。但它同时却忽略了在对生命的认识考察和记录过程中，沈从文对宿命思想的依附以及由此带来的迷惘和痛苦。宿命思想与战胜宿命观同时是沈从文骨子里的生命观与价值观，这两个看似矛盾，实则构成了沈从文一个完整的命运观。这种东方宿命思想观念下的悲观和挣扎，并不只是沈从文创作中某一阶段存在的特殊现象，而是贯穿沈从文创作历程的另一条线索，尤其以在短篇小说《边城》中表现尤为强烈。本文将从主题基调、情节安排、人物命运、细节刻画来对《边城》如何体现宿命思想进行阐述，最后得出宿命与战胜宿命是沈从文文学世界相互纠缠的两条线索，漠视其中的任何一条线索都将导致沈从文文学世界的严重缺损，并且对沈从文文学作品的宿命思想的探究具有文学、审美、现实等多重意义。 【关键词】 沈从文，边城，宿命思想 城市学院计算分院毕业论文 Abstract Brief analysis fatalism in Shen Congwen’s BianCheng 【Abstract】 Fatalism was an opinion of destiny long ago. It thought destiny results from certain factors with being predictable and unmodifiable. The research of Shen Congwen at present has discussed Shen Congwen’s describing of some kinds of living style, but it loses sight of the attachment that Shen Congwen made to fatalism and the pain that brought. Obeying fate and overcoming fate are both Shen’s destiny views. It seems that these two opinions are conflicted, but in the fact, they consists of a whole opinion of destiny of Shen Congwen. It is not a special phenomena in the some writing process of Shen that he struggled with this Orient fatalism, but runs consistently through the whole writing process, especially in the novella BianCheng. This article will elaborate the fatalism thought in BianCheng from theme, plot, characters’ fates and details and so on, drawing a conclusion that fatalism and overcoming fate are two entangled clues in the Shen’s literature world . Ignoring any clue will result in the serious defect of Shen’s literature world.
