It was over a year ago, when I was in my second year in university, my parents suggested that whether I would like to pursue further education abroad, say in the UK. I was thrilled when I first heard the idea - “studying abroad”. But for me, that was such a life-changing decision. And it took me over a year to decide that I WOULD study abroad. There were two main reasons why it took me so long . First of all, studying abroad would be a huge challenge, especially the language barrier, and I wasn’t sure whether I was up to it. At that time, I was just a mediocre student, who didn’t excel in English at all. I got cold feet when I thought about studying a professional degree, and having a life in English at the same time.
