Methods W e detected tw elve kinds of bacteria samples by Loop- M ediated IsothermalAmplification( LAMP) and validated the sensitivity of LAMP by serialdiluted DNA templates. The resultswere judgedw ith naked eyes and electrophoretic analysis. Results The positive signalw as only observed inM tuberculosis var. hom inis andM. tuberculosis var. bovis, and no positive signalw as observed for the other bacteria in the test. The detection lmi it of the assay w as 1copy/l. Conclusion This LAM P assay hasmany advantages such as specificity, sensitivity and smi plicity. It is useful for rapid detection of tuberculosis, especially in avoiding the interference of B G.
