UNIT9(Period 1 ) 课标要求: 借助这一单元音乐和电影的核心话题,实现谈论“喜好”的功能。 教学目标: 学生能读写并正确使用以下单词及短语:prefer, lyrics, Australian, electronic. 教材分析: 本课是一节听说课,首先通过播放不同种类的音乐激发学生的学习兴趣,并在语境中导入重点词汇及短语和定语从句的句型。并在此基础上引导学生基本能用定语从句表达自己喜好的音乐及音乐家。 学情分析: 学习本单元之前,学生已经学过很多表达爱好的方式。但是用定语从句来表达爱好,对于学生来说,有一定的难度,教师要通过不同的语境跟学生交流,或给学生提供不同的语境让学生互相练习,从而能扎实地掌握并运用定语从句。 教学重点: 用定语从句表达爱好。 教学难点: 在定语从句中运用恰当的关系词。 教具准备: 多媒体课件,教案。 教学方法: 任务型教学方法,情景交际法,自主学习与合作学习相结合。 教学设计: Step1 lead in First lead students to look at the title of this period and read it. Then talk about music with students by asking different students what kind of music they like. Next teach different kinds of music(pop music,classical music,rock,jazz……). Ask students whether they like music or not. When the teacher talks about music with students, some words and phrases about music can be taught. T: Do you like this kind of music? It has great lyrics. Let’s look at it’s lyrics. T: When I hear this kind of music, I want to sing along with / dance to it. Step 2 presentation After playing some music ,ask students what kind of music they like and why. And then write some attributive clauses according to what they say. Make sure they understand the meanings. T: What kind of music do you like ? S: I like rock music. T: Why? S: Because it can make me excited. T: You like music that can make you excited …… Step 3 Listening (1a,1b) Ask students pay attention to the picture in 1a. Then play the tape, ask students to repeat the four sentences after listening (1a) (1)Listen and circle the kinds of music Tony and Betty like . (2)check the answers together .(1b) Step 4 practice 1c (1)Let students look at 1c. And then make their own dialogues according to their preferences. (2)Students show their dialogues. Step 5 Work on 2a and 2b Before listening T: What do you call a person plays music ?......Yes! A musician (write) . What kind of musicians do you prefer
