Ⅰ.The classification of verb(动词的分类)
1.实义动词(行为动词):有实际意义的动词;
2.助动词:帮助实义动词构成疑问句、否定句及各种时态、语态的动词;
3.情态动词:表示情感态度的动词;
4.连系动词:常与其后的形容词构成系表结构。
Ⅱ.The usages of different kinds of verbs.(动词的用法)
1.实义动词(行为动词)
(1)分类:
①Please look at me./She watches movies every Saturday.
②He is listening to the music./I didnt hear the sound.
③Mary was looking for her watch when I called her,but she didnt find it at last.
(2)总结:
①及物动词+名词(vt.+n.)
②不及物动词+介词+名词(vi.+prep.+n.)

(1)分类
①Do you like English?/She doesnt clean the room./Did you enjoy yourself yesterday?
②We are having English class now./My father was watching TV when I got home.
③Its said that his bike was stolen.
④We will graduate in three months.
⑤We have studied here for almost three years.
(2)总结:
①do/does/did:帮助实义动词形成否定句和疑问句,其后接动词原形(do/does/did do);
②be(is/am/are/was/were):帮助实义动词形成进行时态(be doing)和被动语态(be done);
③will/would:帮助实义动词形成将来时态,其后接动词原形(will/would do);
④have/has/had:帮助实义动词形成完成时态(have/has/had done)
3.情态动词
(1)分类:
①He can play basketball./Can I sit here?/It cant be Kate,she has gone to Hongkong.
②-Could you give me a hand?
-Of course I ______.
③-May I come in? -No,you _________________.
④You may be right./She may not be at home.
⑤As students, we must study hard./It must be Johns book,because his name is on it.
⑥-Must I hand in my homework now?
-No, you ___________________
⑦ We mustnt cross the road when the traffic light is red.
⑧You should try your best and you shouldnt give yourself up.
(2)总结:
①can表能力或请求、许可,cant有时表“不可能”;could表请求、许可时,需用can或cant回答。
②may表情求、许可(一般只与第一人称搭配,可与can互换),也表“可能”;其否定回答只能为cant或mustnt;may not表示“可能不”。
③must表必须,也表“肯定”、“一定”;其否定回答只能为neednt或dont/doesnt have to;mustnt表示“禁止”。
④should表义务、责任,shouldnt表示“不应该”。(思考:他应该在家。)
