Emily prefers fishing to mountains. A. going; climb B. go; climb C. going; climbing D. go; climbing 满分点拨 ◆prefer sth. to sth.=like sth. better than sth.喜欢……而不喜欢……。如： I prefer tea to coffee.= I like tea better than coffee. 我喜欢茶而不喜欢咖啡。 C ◆prefer doing to doing喜欢做……而不喜欢做……。如： Her mother prefers watching TV to listening to music.她妈妈喜欢看电视而不喜欢听音乐。 ◆prefer to do sth.更喜欢做某事。如： Cindy prefers to read in the library.辛迪更喜欢在图书馆读书。 ◆prefer to do...rather than do... 宁愿做……而不愿做……。如： Tom prefers to play football rather than stay at home.汤姆宁愿踢足球也不愿待在家里面。 考点二 考点抢测 too…to, so…that与such…that句型 2. She is a good girl we all want to make friends with her. A. such；that B. so；that C. enough；to D. too；to 满分点拨 ◆too...to的常用句型为“too+ adj./adv. + to do”。如： He is too young to go to school. 他太小而不能去上学。 so/such...that可译为“如此……以至于”；too...to译为“太……而不能”，其用法区别如下： A ◆so...that...句型中的so是副词，常用句型为：主语+谓语+so+adj./ adv.+ that从句。如： Mark was so angry that he could not say a word. 马克如此生气以至于说不出话来。 ◆such...that...句型中,such修饰名词。但当名词前有many、much、(a) few、(a) little等词修饰时,句子中要用so...that...而不能用such...that...。如： They are such good basketball players that everybody wants to watch their games.他们都是很棒的篮球运动员， 以至于每个人都想去看他们的比赛。 注意 有时可以在不变更原意的前提下，将so...that...和such...that...加以转换。如： She is so honest that everybody trusts her. ＝She is such an honest girl that everybody trusts her.她如此诚实以至于每个人都很信任她。 考点三 考点抢测 be supposed to 的用法 3.
