学情分析:
本单元主要学习怎样礼貌地向他人寻求帮助,并学习掌握宾语从句。虽然九年级学生已具有一定的理解能力,但是对于宾语从句的理解还有一定的难度,因此,教学中要循序渐进,通过大量举例、对比,让学生逐步理解和掌握,以突破重难点。
一、Teaching aims and demands:
1.Language goals:
(1)Master the key words:restroom,stamp,bookstore,beside,postcard,pardon,washroom,bathroom,normally,rush,go along,go past,turn right/left.
(2 )Master the useful expressions:
Excuse me,could you please tell me...? Excuse me,do you know where I can buy some medicine? Sure. There is a supermarket down the street.
Be able to ask for direction from others and offer help others.
Objective clauses.
Ability goals:
Be able to ask for direction from others and offer help others.
Train students’ listening and communicative competence in the process of asking directions.
