Daily greeting and lead in Use the new words to lead in. By sharing a story about my last April Fool’s Day with the students, let them guess the meaning of the words. Ss can discuss them in pairs. Last April Fool’s Day, my friend invited me to a costume party. I wore a costume. When I got there, I found that I was the only one wearing a costume. So I was really embarrassed.
