It’s a sho rt novel written by English writer(1812-1870) Charles Dickens.
This story was published in 1843.
3 What’s the spirit of Christmas?
Behind all these things lies the true meaning or spirit of Christmas: the importance of sharing and giving love and joy to people around us.

1 Why does Scrooge hate Christmas?
Becaus e the spirit of Christmas is to share, love and give joy to people. But Scrooge is mean, and doesn’t treat others nicely. He cares about whether he can make more money. If he celebrates Christmas with others, he has to buy gifts, and treat others well.
