Teaching importance and difficulties Master the writing skills. Be able to write the passage correctly and logically. Teaching Procedures Step The teacher shows picture of different kinds of pollution to show how serious our environmental pollution. This part can be written down as the beginning of the composition.Step II. Brainstorm In order to help students to think of some writing points of the body language. Ask student about what we should do/ shouldn’t do to protect environment. Give students enough time to prepare. Later, show some pictures and points to help students think. Ask students to present their ideas. We should …… We shouldn’t …… Step III. Exercises In order to write the body part thoroughly and correctly. There are four kinds of exercises in this part. Each group chooses one star and do the exercise accordingly. Step IV. Writing Practice makes perfect. Present the topic. Give them enough time to prepare. Then, ask two students to write the beginning of the composition and another two students to write the ending of the composition. Other students should be asked to write their beginnings and endings on a piece of paper. Step V. Summary We have learned some writing skills by doing exercises. At the same time, we’ve learned how to writing this kind of composition. Step VI. Homework Finish the composition after class.
