Nick’s story Nick was born on December 4th, 1982 in Australia. Unluckily, he was born without arms or legs. As we can imagine, his life was full of difficulties. When he was a little boy, some unkind children laughed at him at school. Nick was really sad and ever wanted to kill himself. Luckily, his mother made him change his mind. Over the years, Nick has learned how to take care of himself and live by himself. He can wash his face, brush his teeth, comb his hair and get dressed. And he can swim, go surfing , play golf, ride a horse, and use a computer. When he was 17, he started to give talks in public . At the age of 21, Nick graduated from university. Then he began to travel around the world to give speeches on life, hopes and dreams. One of his great speeches is called No arms, No legs, No worries. He is so brave. He has spoken to more than 3,000,000 people so far, in about 35 countries. He has ever visited China five times. In 2008, he visited Chengdu, China to help the people in the earthquake. He believes that having a healthy mind and spirit is more important than anything else. His book “Life Without Limits (《人生不设限》)” has encouraged many people.
