Unit 2 What time do you go to school? Period 1 (1a-2d)
Teaching aims:
1.Can use the words:up, get up, dress, get dressed, brush, tooth (pl. teeth) brush teeth, shower, take a shower, usually, forty, fifty, wow, never, early.
2. Ask about and say times.
—What time do you usually get up? —I usually get up at six thirty.

Moral aims
“Time is money and time is life.” Everyone should make full use of time.
Step 1 .Warm-up and revision.

3.Watch a video about clock and answer the question:
--What can a clock do? -- It can tell us time.
Step 2 Ask about the times.

Present how to express time in English
Summarize the methods and practice
(1).整点用o’clock
(2)分钟恰在半点上half+past +点钟/顺读法: “钟点+分钟”
(3)分钟在半点以内的:分钟+past +点钟/顺读法: “钟点+分钟”
(4)分钟超过半点的:分钟+ to+点钟(差几分到几点)/顺读法: “钟点+分钟”
4.Play a game:Quick eyes
Read the time as quickly as possible.
