Marine environment has been a reservoir for antimicrobial resistant strain. Therefore, this article reviews the research progress of bacterial resistance in marine environment by summarizing and comparing with many relative studies. And this review primarily introduces the emergence, dissemission, antibiotic resistance mechanism and the future research directions of bacterial resistance in the marine environment.
