Teaching steps:
Revison
After greeting,ask: how were you yesterday? What did you do yesterday? Students answer one by one.revise the simple past tense.
Lead-in
Lead to the new lesson from the answers like this:
You went to the Han River. what did you do there? how was the weather? Were you relaxed? were you happy?
If we write down the answers, It is a writing of the trip.
Presentation
Show some pictures of my daughter. ask: what do you know according to the pictures. If students can’t describe the picture, I can ask the question to help them. Then tell students they told me my daughter’s trip to Bei Jing in 2013. Let students think about how to tell others a trip, what to describe clearly.they pay attention to the simple past tense, they must use the irregular verbs properly.
Workgroup
I give some photos of Wang Qiao’, they discuss how to write Wang Qiao’s trip last year. Then they write it independently.One write on the blackboard.
peer editing
After they show their passages in class,they can correct and edit theirs each other. How to correct a passage. I explain for them.
Summary
We sum up the lesson:what do we learn in the lesson.
Homework
Students write down their own trip.
