Part1:Analysis of the teaching material
Status and function.
It is a story about the students going to school in a village in China. Arouse the students in the city to pay more attention to the students in the village and help the students in need, especially for the rural area. Meanwhile, they should cherish what they have now and strive for the future. Practice more about the reading skills.
Analysis of the students
The students are in Grade one, they have learned English for near a year, they know a few reading skills, teachers should practice more to enable students to master the skills well.

i. The words and expressions in section B

ii. New sentence patterns:
