Pomelo ,a sp ecies of Citrus , has been develop ed tremendously as a kind of fruit in China in recent decades. There is disagreement wit h t he origin and evolution of pomelo . Here t he aut hor gave some comment s on t he natural differentiation of pomelo and t he flux of t he centre of genetic diversity , by summing up t he studies on t he genetic diversity of pomelo and t he distribution of almost 70 cultivars in China . The aut hor also pointed out some problems about t he research into t he biology of pomelo germplasm .
