We extracted pattern parameters of CMYK separately in the typical color region from leaves ，fruits，flowers and new shoot’s leaf using Photoshop CS3，then ， determined the color percentage of C，M ，Y ，K. The results indicated that the ornamental crabapple’s color could be represented by the percentage of C，M ，Y ，K ，and could be observed the differences between existing varieties and new varieties easily. Digital technology was used to describe ornamental crabapple’s leaf，fruit，flower and new shoot color，so as to provides a basis for breeding new varieties，through this method we can restore the plant’s color scientifically and accurately ，and reflect the differences between varieties easily.
