Information – The top 30 companies in the Manufacturing arena make up 16B in product and services. RSI has created the Information Automation Business Unit (IABU) to go after this area. We are beginning to release products to server the Manufacturing BusinessWare arena with the BizWare suite of products like RSSQL, RSHistorian, ComplianceTrack and others. These products combined with server technology put us ahead of our main competitors. Although the SW product market is sizable, the services industry continues to be a growing industry dwarfing the product business at least 5 times. Enterprise – this industry is dominated by SAP, Oracle Apps, JDEdwards…. Companies have spent the last 3-5 years implementing these MRP/ERP systems and are now ready to start connecting with the MFG facility. RA controls the plant and they own the enterprise.
