Global Positioning System (GPS) has been seen in many new and innovative applications such as oil exploitation, spacecraft landing and vehicle navigation. As the application of GPS technology becomes more widespread, high requirements for GPS receivers have been brought up by users. And software GPS receivers have become the focus of experts in recent years. Currently there are two main types of GPS receivers: hardware receivers and software receivers. Although most hardware receivers have proven a relatively satisfying performance when used, they can not always work well under severe conditions. Besides, it is a very consuming task for them to update and the cost is high because components have to be replaced even for a minor change. In addition, component values drift over time, which will reduce reliability and accuracy as receivers age.
