This gives the hotel more difficulties on network cabling. While a single villa needs to carry voice, broadband Internet, video-live and video-on-demand, video surveillance and other business on one network, therefore the demand for bandwidth is quite high.In response to the above features of the resort hotel, Huawei provides “GPON + wired network + wireless network” solution for its customers. In this case the wired network constructs a backbone network for the hotel and deployed in data center, each of 5000 villas is connected with the data center by GPON connection. Within each villa a light-cat of GPON and a AP device work closely to construct a LAN network to carry all kinds of services like voice service, Internet services, wireless access services, IPTV, video surveillance, guest-room control and so on.With this solution Huawei perfectly solved the customer’s problem of deploying network in widely dispersed villas with acceptable cost. Moreover Huawei deployed N2000 + esight network management system to maintain the network and reduced network operation cost by 20%. Cooperated with FCS, Huawei deployed Electronic dispatch for guest-room service, requests from guest-room are dispatched automatically to room-service staff’s terminals.
