Aims
Step1: Lead-in and warm up
Lead the Ss to learn the new words
Think about it: Have you ever bought a present for a friend? What do you consider when you shop for clothing?
The Ss read the words
Discuss and talk about the questions.
Motivate the Ss and lead in the new concept.
Step2: New Concept:
Ask students to listen to a dialogue and answer three questions:
Read the passage and do some exercises .
Exercise 1 on Page 39
Exercise 3 on Page 39
Read it again
Find out the key words and phrases. Finish some sentences with the phrases.

Fill in the blanks. Finish a dialogue with partners.
The Ss listen to the tape and answer the questions.
The Ss read the test and then discuss the answers with partner.
The Ss read it for the second time and get the key words and phrases.
Then fill in the blanks.
Get to know more about the content and key information about the lesson. Students can master the knowledge through learning, studying.
Students can get more and more practice by doing.
Step3: Outward bound
At a clothing store. The clerk will say:

The Ss discuss the topic and then share their ideas.(Give them two minutes to discuss the question).

To act out the dialogue of buying and selling.
