Yunnan Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Co., Ltd., Kunming Yunnan 650214) Abstract: The performance with and then without polymer cement and cement -based capillary crystalline waterproofing coatings are studied based on a experiment of simulating abnormal 0.5 mm and 1 mm cracks in dam upstream face concrete. The results show that the coating can improve the impermeability of concrete, the compound use of two kinds of paints is better than the use of single paint, the impermeability of crack concrete is decreased and the cement -based capillary crystalline coating still has certain effect of the secondary penetration of crystallization after the eradication of paint (simulating paint peeling) is carried out 90 d later.
