Dep ar tm ent of R ad iology , PL A Gen era l Hosp ital , B eij ing 100853 Abstract　Purpose To investigate the suitable progra and relevant technology of yocardial: infarction and reperfusion ani al odel for experi ental M RI study Materials and ethods Twen-. : ty-four ongrel dogs and 14 iniature pigs underwent ligation of the left anterior descending coro- nary artery to create a yocardial infarction and reperfusion odel. All surviving ani als had MRI exa ination Results In all. : 38 ani als, 33 had arrhyth ia, 17 had recurrent ventricular extrasys- tole or ventricular fibrillation, 5 died. All surviving ani als were successfully conversed by lidocaine intravenous injection, except 1dog which was recovered by electric defibrillation. The M R i ages were unsatisfactory in 3 cases due to poor ECG-gating or etal artifact in the sto ach. The reperfu- sion odel established by anipulating the silk thread tie to create occlusion and recanalization the( “occlusive snare” ethod) was successful in all cases. Conclusion: The survival rate of yocardial infarction ani al odel can be i proved by using lidocaine intravenous injection to prevent and treat ventricular fibrillation.
