Without a clear understanding of what is required (see “Organizational change is driven by… in the prior slide) a business runs a tremendous risk of selecting/implementing a solution that does not really meet their needs. In addition, a consulting study helps define what the correct solution is before potentially millions of dollars are spent on the wrong solution. GE’s has intimate experience with Six Sigma and has a proven track record in delivering results using this methodology. By utilizing the Six Sigma methodology in our consulting processes, client’s can benefit from our experience through focused efforts addressing client specific issues and needs. Furthermore, GXS is in a unique position where we can deliver not only a comprehensive action plan with clear ROI and measurements of success, but also provide the solutions. This is contrary to many of the Big 6 consulting firms that while they can deliver a recommendation, they CANNOT deliver the solutions recommended.
