Case Studies of Nudge Theory in Transportation Zhong Wei-qing, Wang Ya-can, Wang Jia-ping, Zhang Xin-yu (Beijing Jiaotong University. Beijing, 100044) Abstract: With more and more attention paid to Behavioral economics, the applications of Nudge Theory in the field of transportation have become the focus of scholars all over the world. The application of Nudge Theory can be summarized into ten Nudging Tools. This paper chooses three kinds of tools which are most involved in traffic experiments: social norms, disclosure and reminders. Through case analysis, we summarize their specific implementation methods in the experiments.
